A man from Telangana has achieved a Guinness World Record after he stopped electric fan blades from his tongue in one minute.

The Guinness World Records shared a clip of Kranthi Kumar Panikera on Instagram as he was attempting the feat and wrote: “Most electric fan blades stopped using the tongue in one minute, 57, by Kranthi Kumar Panikera DrillMan.”

Panikera is known as the “drill man” and in the video he can be seen standing in front of multiple electric fans and uses his tongue with speed and precision to bring the a stop to the blades, as per NDTV.

The stunt has gained attention of people with one expressing concern over such a stunt saying, “How is his tongue not cut off?” as another contemplated the need for the record: “Why is this even something worthy of a record?”

Despite the questioning from people, Panikera expressed his happiness over achieving the record saying that he come from a small village where dreaming big was “too big for us”.

“Today achieving four Guinness World Records seems unbelievable. I am truly honoured and grateful to have been recognised by the Guinness World Records,” he said.
