‘Breaking Bad’ actor Aaron Paul reveals what inspired him to accept ‘Midnight Pool’ gig

Aaron Paul, renowned for his acting in Breaking Bad, has reportedly joined the cast of The Midnight Pool, an upcoming psychological thriller.

According to the latest findings of Bang Premiere, the actor will portray Johnny Black, described as a jaded journalist who is “lured into the shadows of an elite, exclusive society” in the aftermath of a personal tragedy.

In his chat with Variety, the Emmy-winning star what led him to accept this role. Paul revealed that the narrative of Jonathan Easley’s script had a lasting impact on him.

“The moment Midnight Pool landed on my desk I knew I had to sit down with James. The world created by Jonathan Easley really stayed with me long after I put the script down,” he began.

Recounting his initial meeting with the director James McTeigue, Paul added, “We sat down in my backyard and spoke for hours about the love of filmmaking.”

He marked the conclusion of this anecdote by saying, “After that meeting it was very clear we both wanted to lean in. I am such a huge admirer of James and I feel truly blessed to be on this journey with him and the rest of the team.”
