Ozzy Osbourne’s sisters devastated by his death: ‘we’ll miss his weekly calls’

Ozzy Osbourne’s sisters left devastated by his death, revealing he had hoped to visit Birmingham once more.

Jean Powell, 85, and Gillian Hemming, 80, were heartbroken after losing their beloved ‘Our John’ brother.

The sisters could not sleep the entire night after learning of the legendary Black Sabbath front man’s death, whom they described as ‘funny and full of love.’

Speaking to The Mirror, the sisters spoke warmly of their ‘crazy’ brother and how proud they were of him.

‘We saw him in Birmingham the other week when he and the rest of the band were given the freedom of the city. ‘It was upsetting because he could not stand up straight, but he was still our John, still cracking the jokes. To us he was our brother, not a celebrity, so it’s crazy to see the outpouring o love since his death was announced.’

‘We won’t be getting another phone call or text from him.’

The heartbreaking news of Ozzy’s death reached the sisters through a phone call yesterday.

Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has passed away three weeks after performing his farewell gig with his Black Sabbath bandmates.

The singer’s family confirmed the news in a statement that read, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.”
