Gracie Abrams hits new benchmark with ‘That’s So True’



Gracie Abrams’ ‘That’s So True’ achieved another major milestone 

Gracie Abrams, the American singer-songwriter, reached new heights with her viral hit That’s So True.

The us. singer continued her record-breaking streak as she secured a seventh non-consecutive week at number one on the Official U.K Singles Chart on January 10th.

The emotional pop anthem became an instant hit in November, 2024, after it’s bridge gained separate fanbase through videos and reels on TikTok and Instagram.

It lasted on charts for five consecutive weeks into mid-December until Wham!’s festive song Last Christmas took the spot.

Abrams shared her gratitude on Instagram stories, as she penned, “First top ten on the Hot 100, THANK YOU FOR LISTENING.”

In January 2025, the song reclaimed it’s position and became the popstar’s first to hit number one in the U.K, followed by the release of a deluxe edition of her sophomore LP, The Secret of Us, in October.

Trailing behind Abrams on the list is, ROSÉ and Bruno Mars’ APT and Lola Young’s Messy both maintaining their positions.

On fourth is Gigi Perez’s Sailor Song, while BTS’ Jimin re-entered the top five with his single Who which made an impressive leap from 59th spot to 5th place.

Following the success, Gracie Abrams had performed That’s So True while serving as The Eras Tour’s opening act. She has also received a nod from 2025 Grammy Music Awards for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for us. featuring Taylor Swift.
